This is for a set of 2 metal slats measuring 6" x 34". They are tempered and work well for bending wood.

The slats come in two alloys: spring steel and stainless steel. The spring steel is highly tempered and very ridged. It works well when bending sides for a cutaway because the slats will remain flat. Although the spring steel slats are the most sturdy, they are susceptible to oxidation so be sure to keep them clean and dry. Also use a craft paper barrier between the slats and the wood to avoid stains.

The stainless steel will not rust so no barrier necessary when using these slats. The temper makes them more ridged than the standard 303 alloy, still not as strong as spring steel.
